Shading in Table Cells (Word 2002)
I am working in a table to which I have been applying shading of different
colors in certain rows. Up till now, the shading shaded everything -- both text and blank areas. However, today when I apply shading, the shading only does the blank areas and the text stays in what looks like a white box. Can anyone tell me what I may be missing? Thanks. |

Make sure that no white shading has been applied to the text itself.

Shading in Table Cells (Word 2002)
That was not quite it, but it put me on the right track. It turns out that
for some reason my style had changed, and the new style, under Format/Border required all text to be colored a very light grey, which was not apparent on the screen. Once I changed that to No Fill, the table cells were shaded in their entirety. Thanks for your help! "Suzanne S. Well, this is just what I said except that very light grey shading had been
applied to the text instead of white. -- Suzanne S. Shading in Table Cells (Word 2000)
Hello,
For business purposes, I work with word template calendar downloaded from templates section of the MS website. I'm trying to shade indivdual cells gray, but a thin section at the bottom of the cell stays white. Please help. Jennifer "Suzanne S.
