Default Skip large spaces when I hit enter

Hello
I have an 11 page report. On the last page when I hit enter it will take me
to the end of the page. If I type in a couple of lines and hit enter after
each one it will put a larger space between them (over an inch). Any
suggestions of why it is doing this?
Thanks saland1

On the File menu, click Page Setup. Click the Layout tab. Make sure
that "Vertical alignment" is set to "Top". Click OK to close the
dialog box.
