Default How can I increase the size of buttons on quick access toolbar?

Using Word in Office 2007, I would like to make the buttons (icons) on the
quick access toolbar larger so I can see them more easily.

Change the appropriate display settings in Windows; in Control Panel,
double-click Display. At least if you are using Windows XP, make use of the
Appearance tab.

Really?? Changing the size of the icons in Windows worked for the icons on my
desktop, but not for the icons in the Word 2007 Quick Access Toolbar. What am
I doing wrong??

I think what Stefan was suggesting was to reduce the screen resolution, which
will make everything larger. There is no way to enlarge just the Quick Access
Toolbar buttons while leaving everything else the same size.

Indeed, that's what I was *thinking* of, but it wasn't what I actually
wrote. :-(

Thank you for clarifying my thoughts. :-)

Well, that's what I thought but I just wanted to hear it from your very own
lips.

Thanks to both of you, Jay and Stefan, and I'm sorry that mind-reading isn't

Mine got smaller and you can barely see them. The color changed to green. Everything else stayed the same. I reinstalled the program, same thing. It happened after I was changing other settings, including colors, to green, in windows 10 display settings. Note: No other sizes changed. Just the colors including this bar.
