character codes for Chinese characters
Are there any character codes (i.e. ASCII or unicode) that work in Word to
find/replace Chinese characters? |

Yes: the codes that correspond to the characters you want to find and
replace. "Dellanero" wrote in message ... Are there any character codes (i.e. ASCII or unicode) that work in Word to find/replace Chinese characters? |

character codes for Chinese characters
Better question: how do I find the codes? In the past, I've always been able
to identify the character codes by highlighting the foreign character and using the Insert-Symbol command. As long as the character is highlighted, Word usually displays the selected character and it's code. However, when I try this with a Chinese character, I get a blank box and the character code for white space.
