linked object issue
I have a word document that has specific numbers that are linked to an excel
spreadsheet. However, when I try to update these numbers (they are set to format the same as the word document), the system creates a new line for them. It looks like the following before I update - Sales were $50,000 this year. After I update - Sales were $50,000 this year. How do I get it to stay on the same line??? |

When you use Paste Special to paste/link the data into the Word document,
select the RTF Text option. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
