I cannot confirm the first as I don't have Windows Vista or Windows Mail
available. Is Windows mail your default e-mail application? For the second question, you could filter the data on the birthday field and merge the file or you could probably set a skipif field at the start of your merge document {SKIPIF {Mergefield Birthdate \@ "yyyyMMdd"} {Date \@ "yyyyMMdd"}} -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Sarah wrote: QUESTION!! You should be able to merge via Windows Mail, but only if
a. you do not mean Windows Live Mail (which is Microsoft's web-based email facility) b. Windows Mail is your default email package (see Vista-Control Panel Peter Jamieson c. you use the plain text or attachment options. The HTML option only works with the full Outlook that's part of Microsoft Office. Peter Jamieson http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk Sarah wrote: QUESTION!! Can you send mail merges through windows mail?
