Inserting something in a document that I don't want to print
I'm trying to insert a text box or comment that I don't want to print when
the document is printed. I know you can tell it not to print markup but I want it to default to print without the comment. Is there a way to do this? Or maybe there is something else you can insert that will show on view but not print. |

If you are inserting a comment using the Insert | Comment option (or on the
reviewing ribbon if you are using 2007), then it is easy to make comments not print. Open the print dialog box, and where it says "Print What" select "Document." If you want the comments to print, select "Document with Markup."
