Open the 400-page document, press Ctrl+End to go to the end of
the document. Click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Status bar" box | OK. If you look at the left end of the Status bar at the bottom of your screen, there should be a "Page x Sec y" indicator that tells you the current page and section number. The number of section breaks in your document is one less than the total number of sections. LouP wrote: I need to find out the number of section breaks in a 400 page document. How do I do this?
