Default change row height

I am working with a table that someone else sent me and every time I insert a
row, it inserts an incredibly small row that you can't read the type in when
you type (it won't expand as you type). I can't even drag it to make it
larger. What is happening and how do I fix it?

Default change row height

I've seen this occasionally in documents converted from WordPerfect. About
all you can do is go to Table Properties, select the Row tab, and change the
row height from the very small Exact amount it must be set for.
