How can I put my Military experience into civilian terms?

This newsgroup is for help on the mechanics of Word, not the content of your
documents. That said, I don't think non-military people can understand
military concepts and I would be fairly matter-of-fact about it putting
emphasis on the skills (team player, leadership, whatever) which you have
gained which might be valuable in civilian life as well as military. Also
state your accomplishments (promotions, etc.) and major assignments but
don't go into great detail about them. That's just my personal opinion
though and it could well depend on what sort of jobs you want to apply for.
