Default click link, see link and then return

Hello all,

Would anyone know how to return to the same place in the document one was
just before clicking a link that takes us further down or up in the same (or
different) doc?

Example:
I'm reading a wrod doc and I see a link to an apendix which I click - but
after reading the appendix I want to come back to where I was before : is
there any way of doing this?
(I guess I could memorize the page number I was before clicking but...)

Thx

Sometimes Shift+F5 will work. If not, you can use the Back button on the Web
toolbar (which you can add to another toolbar if desired), or its keyboard
shortcut, Alt+Left Arrow.

shift+F5 does not work. Neither does the Alt+Left arrow.
