Greyed out header and footer
I am creating Word templates with Company logos, address etc in the header
and footer which will be used to send via email as attachments. They will mainly be viewed on screen. Is there a way to prevent the information in the header and footer from appearing €śgreyed out€ť when the user opens the document and views it on screen? |

Greyed out header and footer
No, Word always greys out headers and footers in Print Layout view
(unless you've activated the header/footer area, in which case the main body of the document is greyed out instead). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Mary Ann" wrote in message ... Greyed out header and footer
Convert to PDF before sending them as attachments. You'll need additional
software, but PDF will at least ensure that what is received is the same as what you sent. Try Primopdf -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Mary Ann wrote: I am creating Word templates with Company logos, address etc in the header and footer which will be used to send via email as attachments.
