Description of Word styles
Is there some descriptive reference to help a user understand the different
styles available in ms word? I want to scan and properly format manuals and textbooks but am not familiar as to what all the different styles (multiple heading levels, body texts, indexes, etc) are and when and what they are used for. Might there be a good source on-line that would describe and give examples so that I might understand and use them properly? |

You might look at the Styles portion of
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...platePart2.htm. I also highly recommend http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...ingStyles.html -- Suzanne S.
