Try setting your default editing language for Office to English (UK).
Start-All Programs-Microsoft Office-Microsoft Office Tools-Microsoft Office Language Settings. Editing Languages tab, at the bottom of the dialog, there should be a dropdown to set the default editing language (in some versions of Office, it's referred to as the "install language"). Set it to English (UK), close the dialog and restart Word. Before you do this: it will clear some of your settings in Word, so make sure you are OK with that. e.g. your recently opened file list and such. And your default speller for new documents will now be English (UK). -- ----------------------------------------- This posting is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Try Control Panel, Regional and Language options, which contains alternate
short and long date formats. A change here will affect all other applications as well. "mukkadaz" wrote in message ... Is it possible to change the date format in word comments from English US (3/6/2007) to English UK (6/3?2007)? |
