Default Problems with bulleted or numbered lists.

When I am typing in a list, and I press "tab" a tab space is entered in the
list and not a new and further indented bullet. How do I fix this?

Default Problems with bulleted or numbered lists.

First in the original bulletted list, always start from the period of the
last line/bulletted item. Hit enter to create the next bullet.

To indent into a 2nd bulletted list, let it create it in the first bulletted
list, then hit tab. That should create the new/further indented bulletted
list.

I'm just finding out all this should be done with Styles, so I can't help
with the "best way" -- I've always used the functions as WYSISWYG.

But, with Word I'm finding out that what you wanted is not always what you
get (Word-wywinawyg --- lolol)

Ok so when i do that, and the tab results in a bullet lined up right below
the original one on the line above and the curser indented a tab space from
the new bullet...

Default Problems with bulleted or numbered lists.

In Word 2002 or 2003: Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type:
"Left- and first-indent with tabs and backspaces."

In Word 97 or 2000: Tools | Options | Edit: "Set indent with tabs and
backspaces."
