Endnotes and Index
I have a 75,000 word document with endnotes and want to put the index after
them, where it belongs (according to the Chicago Manual of Style), but the Index will not Insert there. It will only Insert at the end of the text, before the endnotes. It is also impossible to Insert a Break after the endnotes - the command is greyed out in the Insert menu. Anything entered after the last endnote comes under endnote restrictions, such as "not a valid command in endnotes". How do I free myself from this? -- Robert |
