Default Open File Lookup

We have a system running Win XP with Office Small Business XP.

When in the open file window in Word or Excel, typing a partial file name
does not result in selections to choose from in a pull-down window, as is the
case with our other stations with Office installed.

Does anyone know how to turn this feature on?

Thanks Joe

If you access "Tools" then "Options", you might readust user preferences
there, but there might be more required for a drop-down menu. Compare
shortcuts between the different Office programs. You might not yet have as
many in Office XP. Somone might know a specific command you can enter.
