Table of Contents
Yes. A couple of caveats:
1. For the TOC title, don't use a heading style that will be included in the TOC; I usually create a TOC Head style based on Heading 1 but with an outline level of Body Text so that it won't be picked up by the TOC. 2. Press Enter a couple of times between the TOC title and your page or section break. When you insert a TOC field, it has a tendency to absorb a paragraph break, so this is one instance where you really need at least one empty paragraph to make sure things work correctly. -- Suzanne S. To put a title on the page of Table of Contents, do you just enter the title and then leave the page blank and insert the table of contents later? -- S |
