Word 2007: TOC shows page numbers in wrong format
This might happen if you've used a switch to make the numbers appear as
roman. It should not happen if you've selected i, ii, iii as the number format in Format Page Number. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "tomcam" wrote in message ... The front matter of my book users lowercase roman numerals for page numbers: i, ii, etc. In the generated TOC they appear as 1,2, etc. This is confusing, because the TOC shows the page numbers like this: as Foreword 3, Overview 1, Getting a Domain Name 2, and so on. Obviously I would like Foreword to show as iii instead of 3. How can I get the TOC style to show page numbers in the style of the original heading style? |
