I was trying to do homework last night and was having some problems.

For example if I type the sentence: I feel that the disability of a person
should not define the person.

The screen might look like: I feel that the disabithat the disablility of a
person shouperson should not define the person.

With some added italic and bold type. That I can't duplicate here.

So I end up spending half my time correcting what I have typed instead of
producing work.

Any ideas?

Are you using a laptop? If so, you may be inadvertently brushing the
touchpad and moving the insertion point.
