Default how can i create a search engine for my work, only.

i have a piles of Word documents, all are divided into 5 fields, i want to be
able to keyword search any or all of the field at one time, how do i do it?
This is comming from a guy that uses only word... excel and so on is way
over my head! but dummies guide is in the post

Look into the Google desktop search engine that you can download from
Google.
