Use the Shrink One Page facility in the Print Preview Screen.

Go to Print Preview. There is a Shrink One Page button on the ribbon
there.

But that's a fairly crude tool -- all it does is reduce the point size
of all the type in 0.5 point steps. Several better suggestions are at

Thumbs up Answer: How do I make 2 pages into 1 page?

In Microsoft Word 2007, you can use the "Shrink One Page" feature to fit two pages onto one page. Here's how:
  1. Open your document in Microsoft Word 2007.
  2. Click on the "Page Layout" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "Page Setup" group.
  4. Click on the small arrow in the bottom right corner of the group to open the "Page Setup" dialog box.
  5. Click on the "Layout" tab in the dialog box.
  6. Under "Pages," select "2 pages per sheet" from the drop-down menu.
  7. Under "Page," select "Landscape" from the drop-down menu.
  8. Click on the "Margins" tab in the dialog box.
  9. Set the margins to your desired size.
  10. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

Your document should now be formatted to fit two pages onto one page. If your document still doesn't fit onto one page, you can try adjusting the font size or page margins to make it fit.
