Converting from PC to Mac
When a Word document is created on a PC and then sent to a Mac for editing
there is formatting issues that are added to the document. (Format, Paragraph) Then when placing the revised PC Word Document into an InDesign page the special formatting that was added will disappear. |

I think you will find that this says more about InDesign's import filter
than Word's formatting. Have you checked the import parameters in InDesign? The PC version of InDesignCS2 makes a fair stab at importing manual formatting from Word using its default settings. Check with the Adobe forum. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Jim wrote: When a Word document is created on a PC and then sent to a Mac for editing there is formatting issues that are added to the document.
