Page format and screen display not in sync
My page format is set to 1" on the top and bottom of the page and 1.25" for
the left and right margins. However, when starting a new document, even with these settings, the cursor is at the very top of the page without the 1" offset. Really annoying and I can't find a way to correct the problem. I have created a base document that I always have to use to get the margins to display properly using an older document with all the text deleted, then have to do a "Save As" with the new document I am creating. How do I get Word to open and appear in the manner that the page format settings indicate? I am using Word 2003. |
