One way to do it is to draw a text box and type in it. To draw a text box:
On the Insert tab. in the Text group, click Text box, click Draw text box.
Drag diagonally to create the box.
The box can be moved by dragging it by the outline.
You can format the box so no lines show: Select the box, click Shape
Outline, click No Outline
