Default i cut and pasted header on letter,sent email and they printed red

I kept the header and footer from a letter, inserted new information to the
same recipient, and then emailed it.

The header and footed came our printed red, wheral the body of the leter was
black


How do I get rid of the red?

Make sure to turn off Track Changes and accept all the changes made, before
emailing the document.
