I'm working with an old document which has been updated and I need to update
the TOC. The document is outlined with 3 levels. I want 2 levels to show in
the TOC. The format of the document looks like this
ARTICLE 1 - WHATEVER
1.1 HEADING. And the body text should start here.

Unfortunately the TOC takes the whole paragraph of 1.1 for level 2 and I
have a TOC that is huge. I can't seem to format the rest of the line of
level 2 as body text or another style instead of heading 2 style.
How do I change the text in the document so it isn't included in the TOC??
