Import into Word 2007 from MS Document Imaging
Once a document has been scanned by MS Document Scanning and Imaging and OCR
has been completed, what is the appropriate "convert from" option to select to get the best formatted text when the document is sent to word 2007? Thanks in advance! Hank |

The text formatting capability of MODI is rudimentary, whichever option you
choose, but the OCR text reading is pretty good. If you want better OCR capability you will need to use a third party product such as Finereader. The chances of scanning a document to Word and not having to manually edit at least some of the formatting are too slim to contemplate, whatever OCR product you use. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Hank Lang wrote: Once a document has been scanned by MS Document Scanning and Imaging and OCR has been completed, what is the appropriate "convert from" option to select to get the best formatted text when the document is sent to word 2007?
