"Style Based on" not working Word 2007
I am wanting to set up the H1 style to be based on No Style, H2 to be based
on H1 and H3 tobe based on H2. In the formatting description of each Style they seem to recognise what that style is based on, as styles H2 and H3 will only display formatting that is different from the style that that style is based on. However on modifying the H1 font size, that change does not "ripple" through to the H2 and H3 styles. I have also tried changing the modification of "Style based on" in reverse order but that did not seem to make any difference. Any ideas? Thanks for any help |

Note that any explicit changes made to the formatting of a style will be
preserved even if you change the "Style based on" setting. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Marco18+" wrote in message ...
