How can I delete a black line in my word document?
I have this black line that I can't delete. I have tried to select and
delete but it won't work. I noticed that if I insert a new table below the black line, it has a new black line on top of the table. |

The line is probably a paragraph border. See
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Format...tRidOfLine.htm . lostincyberspace wrote: I have this black line that I can't delete. I have tried to select and delete but it won't work. I noticed that if I insert a new table below the black line, it has a new black line on top of the table. |

G'Day Lost,
The line is probably related to the paragraph marker (¶) that is immediately before it. Select this, and look a: FormatBorders and shading At the Left hand side, click the Top box (None). -- Regards, Pat Garard Australia _______________________ "lostincyberspace" wrote in message ...
