Hi ?B?U3Rhcmxpcw==?=,

I would like to save the *view* when I open my templates file to *list* from
*large icons* (the current setting) I am using Word 07. Is there a way to do
that?

There's nothing built into Word, but this little macro works for me:

Sub ShowDlgNewDoc()
With Dialogs(wdDialogFileNew)
SendKeys "%3"
.Show
End With
End Sub
