I need help with locking or protecting cells.
I use Excel to import data into my proposal software. I format the data add
description off of vendors web sites. I have the browser open in the top half of the screen and Excel in the bottom. When I C&P the data into the cell it expands to the size of the data and the one cell now fills the screen. No I have to size the cell back to the original size. Can I lock the cell size byt still C&P into the cell. Thanks, Marc |

The first thing to do when creating a table of this sort is to turn off auto
resizing. On the Table tab of Table Properties, click Options and clear the check box there, or use Table | AutoFit | Fixed Column Width. -- Suzanne S.
