Default How do I get back the 'Select all occurences of style' function?

I have lost the ability to Select all occurences of a given style from the
FormatStyles and Formatting sidebar. Word portends that there are no
occurences of ANY style that I select. (Grey text says 'Select All: Not
currently used' when I click on the down arrow next to a style name in the
sidebar.

Hi Gregor,

In Tools=Options=Edit see if turning on the
[x] Keep Track of Formatting
setting helps.

Bob,
I had the same problem at Gregor, and that solution helped me. I assume this
is a feature that is part of my upgrade to 2003? Off to do a little more
research on it.

Thanks,
LPT

Had the same problem and... great! It works again!

If I may make a suggestion, it would be to add a kind of 'pop-up' when the
user is on this grey text (not selected) to either have the possibility to
switch the 'keep track' from there or at least to have a small text
explaining: 'tools/options/keep track'. This would help a lot...

Thanx again for the solution Bob...
