Word XML should support MathML to display mathematical equations
Instead of forcing Academics and researchers to use specialized math software
to create formulas and then take a screenshot or export to an image, Microsoft Word's XML format should support embedding of MathML markup language format for displaying advanced mathematical equations. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Hi Stephen,
Until Word gets native MathML support (if it ever does), get MathType from www.dessci.com. See http://www.dessci.com/en/products/ma...res.htm#MathML for some description of its capability. There's a free 30-day demo. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org On Tue, 19 Jul 2005 16:21:02 -0700, Stephen H wrote: Instead of forcing Academics and researchers to use specialized math software to create formulas and then take a screenshot or export to an image, Microsoft Word's XML format should support embedding of MathML markup language format for displaying advanced mathematical equations. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
