Help For New Word User

Default How do I make corrections without deletign other letters

When typing a report I someitmes need to indert a letter or correct a
mistake, why do I have the letter in front of the correct deleted,,,this
requires me to re-type entire sentences,

Also, when indenting a section of a report, why do I alwasy get a CAP letter
to start off the next line?

Default How do I make corrections without deletign other letters

1. Press the Insert key once to toggle from Overtype to Insert mode.

2. If you have pressed Enter to create a new paragraph, Word assumes that it
is the beginning of a sentence and capitalizes it accordingly. See Tools |
AutoCorrect Options.
