Default print preview and actual print is different from original document

Hi all. I have a user who is using japanese ms word 2000. When he receives a
document created from a english ms word version, the layout looks fine when
he opens the document. However when he trys to print or do a print preview,
both provide a different(messier) layout compared to the original document.
Any idea how i can solve this? Thks in advance.

English as in American? Could this result from Letter/A4 resizing?
