Use tabbed windows in Word allowing editing of multiple documents
Tabbed windows facilitates the editting of mulitple documents without
clutter. For example, the use of tabbing on programs such as TeXnic Center for TeX documents is much more user-friendly than having multiple word documents opened simultaneously furthering decreasing available RAM for other applications. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Use tabbed windows in Word allowing editing of multiple docume
I have actually submited this issue in several formus long time before the
2007 edition. Lots of people that I work with in Business issues related to large documents and documents that relates to each other could benfit a lot of such issue. I am not only talking about tabs, but about either having these section tabs inside the same documents, or having a "Document Portfolio Manager" as I prefer to call it. The document protfolio manager is a bit different from the Word Tabs. As it is not for the sake of WORD. but it is from the technical point of view: an Object Porfolio Manager, where a DOCUMENT PORTFOLIO could be openned, tabs or section or whatever you like is opened inside this portfolio, then WORD Doc, Excel, Drawing or Power Point Presentaion or whatever could be placed into this Tab or Section. Eitehrway is very usefull for so many businesses Thanks -- HassanEl-Meligy "Suzanne S.
