How to get full content of drop-down form field response to displa
Hi all,
We have put choices into the drop-down menu of a form field. The entire length of each choice displays within the drop-down. However, even though I select one of the choices, the entire choice does not display within the document itself. Tried to select text-wrap through various means but was unable. Any suggestions on how to get the entire response to display in the final document? Many thanks! |

How to get full content of drop-down form field response to displa
Hi ?B?U2Fp?=,
We have put choices into the drop-down menu of a form field. The entire length of each choice displays within the drop-down. However, even though I select one of the choices, the entire choice does not display within the document itself. Tried to select text-wrap through various means but was unable. Text in a dropdown will not wrap to another line; the display is limited to a single line of text. As a workaround, you could use a textbox field. Entering triggers a macro to display a form with the list. Confirming the form writes the entire entry to the text box, which can wrap to another line. The basic approach with sample macro code can be found here http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;198561 Cindy Meister INTER-Solutions, Switzerland http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister (last update Jun 17 2005) http://www.word.mvps.org This reply is posted in the Newsgroup; please post any follow question or reply in the newsgroup and not by e-mail :-) |
