Insert/Overstrike Stuck
For no reason I can determine, my Word 2003 seems stuck in the Overstrike
mode. It happened in the middle of a document I was editing. The OVR appears on the status bar, and tapping the Insert key has no effect. Loading a brand new document seems to have the same problem - it comes up in permanent overstrike mode Is there some explanation? Options. etc..? -- PT |

If you mean overTYPE double click the OVR indicator on the status bar.
