How do you stop MS Word 03 stop exiting when clicking close only?
In MS Office Word 2003 when you click close in File or click the close (x) to
close a document only, Word exits or shuts down each time. I want to close just the document window and keep the program running. |

Use the LOWER X, not the upper X. The lower X is only available when you
have only ONE document open. ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "casnj" wrote in message ... I find this happens when you have an Outlook mail open in the background. If
you find the same, try the following in Outlook 2003: Tools - Options - Mail Format - untick "Use Microsoft Office 2003 to edit e-mail messages". Hope this helps.
