Changing the table format when using Insert Database function
Is it possible to make changes to the table format so once I merge the new
tables will have the updated formatting or am I limited to the formats listed? |

Changing the table format when using Insert Database function
As far as I know, you get the formatting facilities provided by the \b and
\l switched in the DATABASE field (see Word Help) and you may preserve some of the layout by using the \*Mergeformat switch in the field as well. Beyond that, you'll need to experiment for yourself.
