Default printing in word

When I print a word doc that I have created it prints vertically vice
horizontal on the page. The printer is set correctly. This started when I
went to detect and repair and checked both restore shortcuts adn discard my
customized settings & restore default settings. It also erased all of my
emails and contacts.
