Must Outlook be running to use the Send To option in Word?
I have a user who insists that Outlook does not need to be running when he
uses the Send To option in Word. That is the only way I can get it to work. Is there an option somewhere that I need to enable so he does not have to have Outlook running? Without Outlook running, the email will just sit there. The second he opens Outlook the email will take off. I need documentation to prove him right or prove him wrong. |

You must open your mail client to actually send the message, but you can
send it to the Outbox from Word without the mail client running. -- Suzanne S.
