settings for custom paper size
I am trying to print sentence strips 3" high by 22" long. When I go to page
setup and set the margins to .5" on all 4 sides, landscape orientation, and then choose custom size and set that to 3" high by 22" wide I receive the following message: 1 or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page. Choose the Fix button to increase the appropriate margins. When I select Fix the margin settings are changed to .5" on the left and 11.58" on the right. If I ignore this message, the printer still stops less at less than halfway. I am printing on an HP Deskjet 5940 and I have already created custom paper size settings to 3" by 23.39" as per HP's directions. Am I missing a setting in Word? I was originally trying to print to 23" and after reaading other postings I changed the settings to 22", but I am still receiving the same error. |
