how can I avoid my space bar to delete words when im correcting
Hi everybody:
I'm trying to correct this word doc. to take it tomorrow to work but I cant avoid my space bar to delete the words in front of it and it all so confusing I cannot edit my doc because of that. a little help pls. thanx |

How are you using the spacebar to delete words? If Delete doesn't work, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...DeleteText.htm. If Backspace doesn't work for selected text, make sure that "Typing replaces selection" is checked on the Edit tab of Tools | Options. -- Suzanne S. Check your status bar--the bar at the bottom of the Word window that gives
you the page number, section number, etc. Is OVR in the middle grayed out or black? If it is black, you probably pressed the Insert key by mistake. Press Insert once more (or double click OVR) to gray it out and then the spacebar won't "erase". "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: How are you using the spacebar to delete words?
