Default How do I lock in a field name?

I have fields where the user will type the correct information into the word
document. However when the user is typing the formatting on the Word page
begins to move right. I want the formatting to remain stationary. In the
example below the user will type his/her name to the right of the name field.
However the DOB: field will move to the right and that messes the formatting.
I want the DOB filed to remain stationary.

Most forms creators use tables (with set row height and column width) for
this purpose. The table can be borderless.
