Default Where do I find the Windows Registry to change?

I posted the message about autotext, etc. not saving. I had seen the
previous posts about the same subject and the solution given had to do with
Adobe 7 which I do have. However, the suggestion in the article is to change
one thing in the Windows registry but I don't know where to find that.

Start | Run | Type regedit in the box

Be careful about editing anything in the registry because you could have
undesired results.
