Default Auto Numbering Labels

I need to make a large number of Avery 5160 labels that will be sequentially
numbered from 0001 to 5000. I was just wondering if there was a way to put a
page number in the center of the page and use the mailmerge feature to create
the labels. Definitely easier than inserting the number one page (label) at a
time.

This seems to be what I am looking for. I did not notice any explanation on
Starting and Stopping Numbers.
