Default Printed forms

I don't know if this is the right group but perhaps if I describe what I am
after, someone could point me in the right direction.

I have some printed Architects Instruction forms. The architect completes a
copy by hand I have to enter them on the PC and print them. I would like to
make a template with the necessary blanks so that when I type them, the
text/figures line up on the form for printing.

Hope I have described it OK.

TIA

This is one of the more difficult things to do. It is easier to replicate
and print the form filled in!

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help.

For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm.

Once you've read at least the first of Dian Chapman's articles, write back
and if you really need to print on the pre-printed form, someone will try to
walk you through it, I'm sure.

Hope this helps,
