Default borders disappear in word 2003

I have some templates developed in word2000.Those templates have some
bookmarks on it where the data comes from the database. Our interface is Power
Builder.Recently we upgraded to word2003.The document looks ok but the data
that is coming from backend is coming in table format without the borders.I
am seeing some gray lines around the table except the first cell. So,while
printing only the first cell is having border.I need borders for the whole
table.Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi ?B?c3lhbQ==?=,

bookmarks on it where the data comes from the database. Our interface is Power
Builder.Recently we upgraded to word2003.The document looks ok but the data

If this is PowerBuilder, then you have code to automate Word (drop the data in
and build the table)? You need to modify your code to apply the borders. OR
(less ideal, perhaps, since it's user-specific) make sure that the DEFAULT TABLE
STYLE for the installation is set to include borders.

Insert a table in a document. Display the Styles and Formatting task pane. You
should see a style listed for the table, and it probably doesn't include any
borders. Modify the style to include the type of borders you want. Now click on
the dropdown arrow next to the style name (hover the mouse until the arrow
appears) and choose "Set as default".
